Development

As you may have read in the About section, I’m currently a Web Applications developer for Fright Catalog working on YumDrop.com, FrightCatalog.com, & Import Costumes. I’ll also use this section to list the various other projects I’m currently involved with.

Fright Catalog & YumDrop

Fright Catalog and YumDrop are both e-commerce sites developed on the ASP.NET platform, written in C#. Fright Catalog sells Halloween decorations while YumDrop sells sexy lingerie. Both sites are built upon the same C# framework which we developed that integrates with the Ecometry order management platform.

Import Costumes

Import Costumes is built using the same C# framework as Fright Catalog and YumDrop, with one important difference. The lack of an Ecometry integration! We are using a 3rd party to fulfill orders for us and we’ve integrated PayPal’s Web Payments Pro API into the site to collect payments from our users. Check it out and get your costumes for Halloween!

Morbid Industries

Morbid Industries is an up and coming manufacturer of everything Halloween. From scary masks to Animatronics, Morbid has everything for the Halloween fanatic! I currently manage their ASP.NET web site and help manage their IT needs from Ecometry support to PC and network support.

WhizSpark

WhizSpark provides unique online tools, managed services, and a social network that work together to save you time and increase attendance at your event. This application was developed on the ASP.NET platform, written in VB.NET.

Dress By Design

This site is a brilliant idea that allows you to custom design your own dress and have it made for you. The site itself was developed on the ASP.NET platform, written in C#. Joe originally developed this site and I took it over in October of 2006.

The Creative Soul

This is my mother’s web site for her business. She wanted a web site so like the good son that I am, I was happy to put one together forher. She’s into alternative healing such as Reiki and Soul Coaching.

Mass Liquors

This is a site Kyle and I are going to be developing for Mass Liquors in Worcester, MA. They’re located off of Chandler St. We should have it up in the next couple of months. Development just started recently and we’re looking to build the site with Radiant CMS and some custom extensions.

Chimera Vintage Lighting

This is an international site that sells vintage lighting. I received a lead for this project from Conor McNamara where a colleague of his needed a simple cart and contact solution to let people look at products, add them to a cart, and email them to the site owner. The catch? Do it without a lot of coding and database. The solution? Javascript and cookies! I basically set up a project hash in Javascript (since there aren’t a lot of products) and had the contact forms post to a PHP function. I didn’t do any of the flash or much of the design layout, just the nuts an bolts that make things work. Check it out!

Revel Video

My fiancee Shannan wanted a videographer for our upcoming wedding. When we met with J.G. Lis he mentioned he needed his web site updated, so we agreed to do a little swap of services. I built up his new site on WordPress. It basically looks like the old one, except instead of a bunch of pages of images with the content, its all Web2.0′ified with DIVs and CSS. And best yet, he can edit all the content himself now.
